Cozy apartment & sauna in the center of Saariselkä

Welcome to my holiday home in the heart of Saariselkä – only a few minutes' walk away of Urho Kekkonen National Park trailheads. I renovated and furnished my home completely in 2023 with all modern amenities while preserving the traditional stone-built fireplace and Finnish sauna. With three beds upstairs and a large sofa bed downstairs, the accommodation is comfortable for various types of groups. The remote working space, fully equipped kitchen and laundry also make it ideal for a longer stay.

Asunnossa on hyvin varusteltu keittiö, olohuone jossa 50" smart-TV sekä tunnelmallinen avotakka ja mukava vuodekulmasohva. Parvella on yksi 160cm parivuode sekä kaksi yhden hengen vuodetta. This wilderness villa sits next to Urho Kekkonen National Park, with its own sauna and, a short walk away, Suomen Latu Kiilopää's fell centre (rental, restaurant, ski tracks). Husky and reindeer safaris, restaurants and slopes are 15 min away in Saariselkä; Ivalo Airport is 35 min. Aurora sightings aren't guaranteed, but few places give a better shot from indoors.
