This is the local arm of Powell's books in Beaverton. The downtown location is a must see. However, it's really busy down there these days, because it's a must see. The Beaverton Powell's is still a really nice, big bookstore. You can buy new and used books here. There's a great area to take books are read for a bit before buying as well.

I'll let you in on a secret. There's two buildings to Portland Art Museum. You just need to ask someone inside how to access the other building.

This is a not so known park minutes away from my place. And it's HUGE. And I mean HUGE. Look it up on Google. You'll be amazed.

Sightseeing
The Waterfront is a great spot to see in downtown Portland. Growing up here, my family kind of looked at this spot of the Waterfront as the heart of the whole city. During the summer, all the festivals are held here. From the Rose Festival to Cinco De Mayo to the Blues Festival and quite a few others. In the early Spring there's a few blocks worth of cherry trees blooming in the park. There's a fountain that's great to sit on a bench and people watch from. And like any other part of Portland, a beer is about a block or less away, no matter where you are.
