Food Scene

Maman, a bakery and café in Toronto’s financial district, is a collaboration between Armand Arnal, head chef at Michelin star restaurant La Chassagnette in the South of France. Cute restaurant/bakery. It is very busy during lunch hours on a work day. They offer quality fresh food (Quiches, sandwiches, flatbreads and salads) and baked goods in a charming setting. If you have a sweet tooth, I'd recommend slice of their Pistachio Bread.

Good take-out sandwich and salad joint. Their sandwich bread is amazing, nice and crackling, golden brown toasted. They're generous with meat and sauce as well. The place is small and you have to stand to eat but you're done in 10 minutes because it's so good and it doesn't matter

Parks & Nature

Awesome park with a large hill that can be used for tobogganing in the winter and uphill sprints in the summer if you're up for it of course. Many people grab blankets and snacks and watch the sunset. Flat grass area, soccer field and baseball diamonds are available and stunning view of the Toronto Skyline.

Entertainment & Activities

Plan ahead (I mean couple months) your next visit to Toronto and get free tickets from CBC's Because News show to see live recording of the show. It is a wonderful opportunity to see what goes behind the radio to create a show. You will be the live audience, and get all your rambunctious laughs out as it is highly encourage there.
