the Promenade is magnficent, you can walk or run for kilometres along the beach front, hire a bike, stop for coffee or meals, walk down onto the beach.... its just beautiful and so well used by locals

Its just amazing, our iconic Lions Head. If you are reasonably fit and agile, go to the top - the walk up is steep but easy, after that there are two ladders and then you have to clamber up rocks. if you are fit, you can zoom up and down in about an hour and a bit, if not, take your time, non slip shoes, and water. Otherwise walk around the base of Lions Head, about 6 km of beautiful views, and easy walking.

Otherwise walk around the base of Lions Head, about 6 km of beautiful views, and easy walking.
Clifton beaches are iconic- sweeping white sands, big boulders, sparkling blue seas. Bear in mind, the sea is freezing! Take the bus or Uber, the roads re very narrow and get very busy in tourist season as every Capetonian who wants to be seen heads for Clifton. Just gorgeous, a must visit.

It is a fabulous place to visit - its a shopping Mall with very nice designer shops, all the usual Mall places, but if you walk out the front you are right on the edge of Cape Towns working Harbour, where you can eat in many excellent restaurants, book a harbour cruise, or just sit and enjoy the view. There is also the Red Shed, a more casual market type vibe. Best of all you can bus right there from my place.

Its an off beat little cinema, in an old theatre building. You can take a glass of wine into the movie with you, and order a simple supper. its an old time vibe, usually showing interesting movies that you dont find elsewhere, as well as latest offerings.

Getting Around
My Citi Bus is a really good bus service around the Sea Point area. Otherwise Uber is a good option. The Red Bus is a great tourist option. You have to pre-book but you go sight seeing on an open topped bus.
