Grove Green is a great spot if you're feeling healthy - their mantra is no carbs, no sugar but great tasting food. Originally a skeptic (I'm by no means a healthy eating type!) I've been converted by their delicious chicken burgers and zesty salsa with a fresh OJ on the side.

Parks & Nature
Delta Park is right on the doorstep, it's a rugged, spacious park with stunning views over both of Johannesburg's cityscapes (Sandton and Downtown CBD). If you're feeling active take your running shoes down on Saturday morning and join hundreds of people from the local area who take part in ParkRun. (family friendly and welcoming of young, old, fit, unfit and everything in between)
My favourite is to take a blanket and some snacks and have a picnic by one of the lakes.

Getting Around
The Gautrain at Sandton connects you with downtown Johannesburg (stopping at Rosebank on the way) as well as OR Tambo International Airport. There are also a number of car hire offices downstairs from the Gautrain.
