Parks & Nature walks
Our place! Stroll out of the cottge and down into our QE2 covenant following the horseshoe waymarkers into the regenerating valley lush with ferns. The track is called Charlotte's walkway because Charlotte and I cut it out during Lockdown!
Lovely circular walk through well managed bush reserve, great views across the Southern Wairarapa, lots of variety including wetlands with some very old trees. Takes about 45 minutes.

Wide selection of walks here form short strolls to the river to major hikes into the mountains - my favourite is up to Rocky Lookout - a bit of a puff but well worth it for the view.
