A large private collection of modern and contemporary art, all in an ancient 19th century bank building. A really good place, and a good insight in the 20th century artistic world of Yugoslavia.

Mikser House is a hybrid concept space for cultural, educational and commercial activities, nested in an inspiring converted industrial facility of 1000 m2. Located in Savamala, one of the most promising Belgrade neighborhoods, Mikser House is contributing to its bottom-up transformation into a progressive design & culture district.
Owing to synergy with culture organisation Mikser and its regional design network, Mikser House positions itself as the Balkan Design Center dedicated to development and promotion of the region's creative talents. Mikser House is also known after great musical program throughout the whole year. Winter season brings bunch of great gigs of local and regional musicians and occasional salsa parties, while during the summer, hot weekend nights can be spent in its pleasant Garden which serves excellent cocktails and music.

It has a very photogenic military museum, partially open air - where tanks and guns watch over the city.

There are lots of terrains for pretty much all kinds of sports, basketball, football, minigolf, and of course a nice bicycle track. There is a special bus that takes you there from the center of the city (ADA 1, ADA 2 etc.)

Kafana Kalenić is an example of a true traditional kafana with, as we like to say, checkered tablecloths and tin ashtrays. Located in the beautiful surrounding of Vračar and next to the one of favorite city markets of the same name, this kafana is one of only a few remaining in this city area. It is a symbol of tradition, lying in this place from 1938.
Since it is located at the busy corner of two streets - Mileševska and Trnska, Kalenić confirms the fact that good kafana can only be found at a crowded corner. Here you won't find much luxury and style, everything is quite simple, yet so warm and cozy. Kalenić is the place which reconciles people, because it is not important whether you are young or old, rich or poor, educated or uneducated as long as you enjoy and have money to pay at the end. If you are not sure where Kalenić exactly is, just look for almost always crowded garden situated at the corner.
Kafana's menu is oriented towards local Serbia cuisine and offers recognizable dishes like beans, paprikaš, sarma, grilled specialties, meatballs in tomato sauce, roast and always-present local desserts like orasnice, tulumbe, baklave, crepes...
