Fresh (no microwave) home-made, healthy, quality food. Great selection of cold appetizers (meze), soups and main dishes. The "kofte(meatball)" is just like mom's. And a mixed meze plate is my fav.

Well... You know gourmet burgers are so hot right now :) Burger Lab is really close by; not the best, but above average. It is 7/10 I would say.

Everybody knows this place :) Tourists and locals. Amazing view, good cocktails; and above avg priced authentic food. More impressive in the daylight.

reminds me of the Samovar Tea Lounge in San Francisco... Go for the tea from all over the world (you can even find green tea with roasted rice etc), or just go to try the Turkish tea from diff regions

There are not many Thai places in istanbul. This one, Pera THai, is less than a 10 min walk from home. And I can easily say, this place is as good as the thai restaurants in San Francisco or New York
