The op shops that are scattered around the main street, as well as an assortment of great restaurants (especially Lady Marmalade), middle-eastern supermarkets, bookshops, cool beer haunts (the pub, Bent Elbow - my favourite, Shady Palms - a definite chill out space), other cafes and cheap tat stores make it a really special area of Brisbane. The Stones Corner Village is a really is a mish-mash of old, new and a funky place to hang out day and night.
