My favorite sit-down breakfast in the county! Homestyle cooking. Be prepared to wait 30-45 minutes on a weekend morning for an outdoor seat. They also have great lunch and dinner, and downstairs in the pub they have daily specials. Taco Tuesdays are the most popular.

Very short walk to the lake, but plenty of other trails around this area to explore. Take the trail around the lake, up to the falls, or take Surprise Lake trail nearby.

Park in the lot right off the highway, walk along the bike path, connect with the trail from there. Best to lookup a trail map online, as there are some confusing intersections. Steep up to the top, but only takes about an hour to get up.
