De Island Shack is a 10 minute walk from Methelin Hill. If you enjoy delicious pastries and a good cup of coffee, try out this little coffee shop.
You get a spectacular view of the Great Sound, Scaur Harbour, Ely's Harbour and Dockyard. At the location you'll also find a short history of Fort Scaur and park...nice for a picnic lunch.

They have the best baked goods here in Somerset. I have to restrain myself from going there on a weekly basis, the sweets are that good, especially the apple crumble! Before embarking on your bus ride to the South Shore beaches, stop by for a cup of coffee and a little snack. Visually it's a cute little shop with a few surprises other than baked goods.
