Jones do a great selection of breakfast and brunch on a weekend, with a vegetarian choice also available. Queues usually form on Sunday morning at it is popular with the local student population. In the evenings the menu is French in flavour and well worth trying out

This local independent coffee shop has a particularly unusual quirk in that it is also a shoe shop selling handmade designer shoes. So great for a Latte and a new pair of brogues - ofcourse

Parks & Nature

If you just want some space then pop down to Victoria Park. Formerly a race Track many years ago the park is a large open green space on the edge of the city that attracts dog walkers, Park Run runners, university students and parents with kids. It is also where the city hosts large open air events such as concerts and festivals

The Botanic Gardens are a 25 minute walk from us and are great for spending a warm afternoon walking around and popping into the old Victorian house for afternoon tea. Dont take your dog though as its strictly humans only!
