There is however an array of independent shops, coffee places, restaurants and pubs scattered along this pretty street, making it a destination, even on non market days. A stroll along the canal is to be recommended.

There's everything from folk music being performed on the street, to art galleries, small cafés, independent shops, hidden gems to explore on the side streets and of course an absolute jungle of greenery covering the whole street on Sundays. The flower market is only on Sundays, it's lovely and absolutely buzzing. If you want to enjoy the boutique shops, and to really get to see this super pretty conservation are properly, Saturday may be the best bet.
