The Gilded Iguana Surf Club: best choice of boards and amazing facilities: juice bar, towels, showers, lock boxes, high speed wifi. If you are interested in a 10% discount to rent a board or have a surf club membership during your stay, send me your first and last name in advance and I'll register you for the discount.
Naked Foods: best vegan food I've ever tried! Non vegans will love it as well!!! 5% discount if you mention that you stay in the Surf Shack.

El Jardin Cafe: great coffee spot in town: amazing coffee, açai bowls, my favorite bread! Open from 6am
Sunrise Coffee in Pelada: my favorite coffee in towns and amazing choice of lattes and drinks without caffeine, best desserts, sandwiches and breakfast / brunch options.
Destiny's Cafe: best brunch and breakfast in town! Not going to advise anything in particular because simply EVERYTHING is good! Open till 3pm
Harmony Hotel: check out their Juice bar.
La Luna: go there to enjoy the view on Pelada beach and try their pizzas, kebab, and many other things!

Wow... that is what I could tell when I first arrived there. This is the only restaurant in town which is literally situated on the beach, with nice sofa beds options to hang out during the day. But that is not all: the food there is really good. You can go there for breakfast or brunch to enjoy the view and the beach, for the sunset drinks, or just for a dinner.

Harmony Hotel also has one of the best restaurants but I would also suggest going there during the day to chill out in their Juice Bar: some of the best smoothies I have tried in town. Plus, they have good coffee options and baked goods, their almond oatmeal cookies are the best.

This is a great restaurant option for every day meals: delicious and affordable! Try their casados for lunch, I find their Poke Bowl the one of the best in town, their pizzas are great, all is home made and good quality. It's just down the street from the surf shack on the left hand side of the road.

One of my favourite places for the seafood: try their Tuna, it is delicious!!! They also have great cocktail options and a very nice outside garden area.

Best coffee, lattes, chai, acai bowls, treats, and sandwiches. This place makes you feel like you are somewhere in Europe. Fantastic quality and very friendly owners. I love this place to sip coffee and do some people-watching. Check out the Nature of Surf Women coffee table book they display in their coffee shop - it is stunning. You can also get one for yourself as a nice souvenir from Nosara.

Rolling waves is a great coffee spot 2 min walk from Surf Shack. The make truly good quality coffee, and I would also advise you to try their banana bread. Enjoy!
