Food Scene

The ambience suggests it would be much more expensive. Great food, service and atmosphere. Probably the best Indian in TO.

Sightseeing

Insanely, crazy, amazingly high. You must at least walk to the very bottom of it and look up. It's right near Ripley's aquarium and Rogers centre (baseball). And if you're very brave you can walk around the outside of the restaurant waaaay up in the sky.

Lake Ontario is huge, and Toronto is right on its edge. This is a good place to see some of the life on the water. Grab a water taxi, ferry, sailing trip etc. In winter this is the place to skate.

The closest store for beer, wine, and spirits. About a 7 min walk North on Bayview Ave. Closes at 9pm most nights. Good range of beer and wine but it sometimes isn't very cold so go there early and pop it into the fridge at home to chill.

Drinks & Nightlife

The place to watch sports when a Toronto team is playing. Huge screen, great atmosphere but a good idea to phone ahead for a table if it's a play-off game. Menu is diverse and consistent. Service is friendly and generally fast enough. Beer is cold.

Modest and relaxed but fun sports bar. Feel free to throw the peanut shells on the floor. DO NOT go if you are allergic to peanuts! Food is surprisingly yummy and healthy.

Huge mall running between Dundas and Queen subway stations. Just an 8 minute bus ride then 10-15 mins on the subway. Retail-junkies will be in heaven.

Described as 'Toronto's study'. This is where TO comes to learn. Five levels of books, some can be borrowed and plenty of large and small workspaces. There are also meeting rooms and study pons on each floor available to book.
