Sightseeing

It is absolutely beautiful and accessible on foot from Mariner's Lookout. It is a wonderful swimming and walking beach. Comox Bay is immediately to the right and leads to Filberg Park and the village of Comox.

The Marina is within walking distance from Mariner's Lookout and is a beautiful place to visit. Fishermen sell fresh fish and shrimp from the fishermen's dock, it is an experience! Take the time to walk the lookout farther out and watch the boats entering and departing the harbour.

If you go the the bottom of Croteau Beach Road and walk toward the beach you will find a boardwalk along the bay. Stunning view of the mountains, the spit and the bay. Follow the trail up through the woods along Brooklyn Creek. You may see herons, eagles, deer, owls, and fish fry.
