This is a very local place, at nighttime it's quite fun and lively to go to, there's usually live music, kareoke or dancing at night, very Spanish/Latino. People are friendly and it's a staple of the neighborhood. Amazing Empanadas.

Of course Central Park is a must see, but taking the bus across town to walk Riverside Park is less tourist-y, and you get to walk along the Hudson.

Getting Around
The E 116th St. in East Harlem on Lexington Avenue is the closest subway to us. It is about 7-10 minute walk. There are 3 other subways along 116th St. but it would be recommended to take the M116 bus to them because they are farther.

The M116 bus stop is right in front of Dunkin Donuts on the north side of the street and goes across town to the west side so you can hop off to catch any of the subway train stations.
