BART can take you around the East Bay and to San Francisco. Shortest route (.9 miles) to the station is along the Ohlone Greenway. The Ohlone Greenway has both walking and biking paths.
El Cerrito also has LImeBike public bikes. With the app you can likely locate an available bike within a few blocks that your can ride anywhere (no designated parking spots) and leave for the next person. First ride is free.
