Everything Else

Fun day out. You get a small tour of some beautiful spots on the way out to Eco-zip. Amazing views from the top of Trig Hill Road. The 3 lines you zip down are exhilarating. Well worth it.

Shopping

Lots of locally made art and craft. Great food stalls, second hand items, books etc. Great local market. There are both inside stalls (inside the memorial hall) and outdoor stalls.

Food Scene

Waiheke has many fabulous restaurants both at the wineries and in the villages. One of our favourites is Alibi which is the room underneath Tantalus restaurant. Especially good when you are with a group. Small plates of delicious food at a very reasonable price. Casita Miro is also highly recommended. In summer you will need to book for here as it is so popular. Spanish tapas.
