Approx. 40 min drive from our place. Nestled away in Hervey's Range this lovely Tea Room enjoys cooler weather. It's a lovely drive into the range with some nice walks from the tea rooms. The coffee and food is worth a trip too.

37 Thornton Gap RdApprox. 40 min drive from our place. Nestled away in Hervey's Range this lovely Tea Room enjoys cooler weather. It's a lovely drive into the range with some nice walks from the tea rooms. The coffee and food is worth a trip too.
Quarterdeck is a great spot with good vibes to kick back with a drink and food. With views to Maggie its a beautiful spot at sunset.
Miss Songs Asian restaurant has delicious food - bookings can be required.
Palm House is buffet style dining with great variety.

Take a drive up Castle Hill to get a great overview of the city and beautiful views over Magnetic Island. If you're adventurous try walking the goat track along with the locals trying to get fit!

Absolutely worth a looksee. Recently developed and opened for the public. Fantastic boardwalk between the Rockpool end of the Strand, meandering around to Rowes Bay. Lots of historic info and great view points.

A must-do day trip. The island is only 20 mins by ferry and the ferry terminal is less than 10 mins from our place. When you arrive hop on a bus to check out the bays. The beaches are beautiful, there are watersports and dining options at Horseshoe (the busiest of all the bays), the pubs at Arcadia and Picnic have great food and views too.
The Forts walk is where you might spot a koala - Maggie has the largest population of koalas in the wild!
