Eco-café in a really cozy little area by the Akerselva river. Old industrial buldings are transformed into what looks like a small little village on its own with small unique shops, a theater and a square. Worth a visit!

Det andre Teater - or The Other Theater - is an impro-theater run by an young and enthusiastic crowd that missed a dedicated impro-scene in Oslo and decided to create one! Really good atmosphere, but shows are in norwegian.

Parks & Nature
A beautiful park close by the apartment. Nice for just laying in the gras on a sunny day or bringing kids to play. There is a playground in the park. Close to the park, on the southern side, you will find a volleyball, basketball and miniature golf court. Every summer there are concerts and an outdoor filmscreening.

A beautiful park close by the apartment. Nice for just laying in the gras on a sunny day or bringing kids to play. There is a playground in the park. Close to the park, on the southern side, you will find a volleyball, basketball and miniature golf court. Every summer there are concerts and an outdoor filmscreening.
Just outside the doorstep you will find a big park and recreation area popular among residents. This is a great area for a jog or a morning walk. I recommend a walk on top of the hill where you will find a great view over the city!

Akerselva is the biggest river running through Oslo. The area along it is now a protected area, well known for its cultural and historical environment. The trail alongside it is a much used by Oslo residents for recreation, like jogging, going for a stroll and sunbathing in the summer.
