Currently this is my favourite ramen restaurant. It is delicious and has a nice ambience. You can choose thick or thin noodle (I like the thick chewy one), the soup base, and fat or lean pork (I get one piece of each). Try the okonomi gyoza.
Tip: If you are a big eater, save some soup and ask for extra noodles.

This is a great place if you want quality Japanese food with an fancier ambience. Everything is delicious on their menu. Best yaki udon I've ever eaten. Currently this is my favourite Japanese restaurant.

Just around the corner and up the steps is this gem. Perfect for a romantic dinner. Also great for brunch. The decor is beautiful with top notch service. Try the mussels.

This place is just a block away and has the best okanomi gyoza (gyoza drizzled with mayo, terriyaki sauce, bonito flakes, and green onion). Their ramen noodles are pretty good, too. We eat here frequently because it’s so close.

Amazing Japanese food here. They opened recently and is now my favourite place to eat. My recommendations are the tonkotsu rice, unagi bowl, chicken karage, and rainbow roll.

This pizzeria sets itself apart because they have a whole wall of board games to play with as you wait for you food. They serve many kinds of pizza with some vegan options. They also offer salad, lasagna, and dessert.

Public Transportation
Buses, Skytrain (and Seabus) can all be easily accessed using your credit card. Just simply tap it on the blue panels when you enter. Once you tap it will not charge you again for 90mins (you get unlimited taps within this time duration). Note: Uber is prohibited in Vancouver. Best way to get a taxi is to call one directly and give them the exact address.
