Antwerp also offers a great bike rental service called ‘Velo Antwerpen’ with pick up and drop off stations all over town, allowing you to get around easily within the city and outskirts.
Velo station 033 - Hessenhuis is the closest to the house.
Day and week passes are available online or at their office situated in Antwerp central station.

There’s hardly any public transport after midnight, so if you are in need of a taxi, we usually call ‘DTM Taxi’. They also have an easy app you can install on your smartphone to book a taxi. Bare in mind though that taxis are not cheap. After 10PM you pay a fixed price of € 5,45 + € 2,00/km (check the website for the latest fares).

If you’re arriving by train and prefer to take the bus, rather tha walking, bus line 17 departs at platform 1 just outside the station and stops approx. 200 m from the house. Get off at the 4th stop ‘Hessenbrug’. It will take you around 12 min.
