Holt is an old Industrial Neighborhood along the Black Warrior River. In the early 1900's industry grew up along the river and Homes were built for workers. My home was built in 1920 and I have owned it for a year. I took time to restore it and make it something I would greatly enjoy. The neighborhood went into decline when the industry left but a group of us are working to help bring it back. I have established a 501c3 Nonprofit called help Holt Heal. Just so you know, when you stay with me all the proceeds from your stay go to the Nonprofit. We want to build athletic facilities, clean up the area and make it a good place to live again. I appreciate you staying with me and Helping Holt Heal.
