It’s worth it to visit the SNFCC Culutural Centre and book a guided tour! There is a shuttle bus that takes you to the SNFCC from Athens City Centre. There are lots of events on a daily basis at the SNFCC so make sure to check before you go! You can combine this with your visit to Peireus (see guidebook).

MUST VISIT - Syntagma Square is the parliament square at the heart of Athens. Here, you can also see the Changing of the Guard. The guards, known as Evzones or Tsoliades, change every hour and stand in stillness in front of the parliament.
But every Sunday morning at 11 am, you can watch the official ceremony of changing of the guards with the official dresses.

Other tasty choices include ‘Me’, ‘Brunello’, ‘Simul’, ‘IT’ and lastly don’t forget to grab a tasty Mille-feuille from ‘Despina’.

Kifisia is an exclusive area in the northern suburbs of Athens filled with high-end shops, restaurants and cafes. I would definitely recommend this for a shopping day out! ‘Il Salumaio d' Atene’ is my favorite spot for an early lunch! From the Athenian Penthouse you can easily get to Kifisia as it is the last stop of the train that leaves from Victoria Station (3 minute walk from the Athenian Penthouse)!

I would recommend getting there by car as it is a beautiful drive down the waterfront with lots of cafes and restaurants to stop at! Glyfada centre is packed with shops, restaurants and cafes! Other areas to visit near Glyafada that are on the beachfront are Voula and Vouliagmeni. I recently visited ‘Sofi’s Eatery’ in Vouliagmeni and it is my perfect brunch spot! Make sure to visit ‘Moorings’ cafe restaurant it has an amazing feel!

Historical area with both and archaeological site and museum! You can get to Delphi by car, bus or even a guided tour (these are very common)! If you are there for more than a day it is a good idea to visit the village of Arachova that is a winter destination with a Ski centre!
