Vaccaro's Gelato is to die for! It is one of my favorite dessert places in all of Baltimore! Their motto is "Life is Short, Eat Dessert First!", and trust me you won't regret it!
They have a larger location in Little Italy, but the Canton location is walking distance from the house :)

An 8 minute walk from the house this is a great little halal cart across the street from the Eastern Ave Pratt Library. They have but very tasty chicken and lamb gyros, and platters!
If you are also a spice lover then definitely try out their extra hot hot sauce!
This cart is on the busy Eastern Avenue that is full of other small shops and restaurants worth checking out as well!

Canton is on the eastern side of the main harbor. It is a vibrant neighborhood with many wonderful and unique restaurants. Always search "Canton Events" to see if there are any festivals or special events happening the weekend you are here!
Canton waterfront is a two blocks from the house, and has a wide walking/biking path right along the water. It is beautiful to sit by the water and look out over the harbor at sunset.
Canton is also walking distance from Patterson Park, a fantastic park with running/biking trails and a large public swimming pool!
We are also walking distance from the historic and well-known neighborhood, Fells Point. Fells Point also has many wonderful restaurants, a farmer's market, and hosts festivals throughout the year.

Value Village is on Eastern Avenue, and is a well kept and clean second hand store that could be fun to check out if you get excited by the adventure of thrifting!

There is a free ferry called the Harbor Connector that leaves the Canton waterfront that connects to the main Inner Harbor. There is also the Charm City Circulator, which is a free bus service that connects all of the main neighborhoods of Baltimore.
