Its a lovely place to put your feet in the cold water on a sunny summer day. People bring their barbecues, and you can have a cold beer in public if you prefer to bring your own. Otherwise, the restaurant and gallery Filosofen is excellent for both drinks and food. I really recommend their Sunday brunch from 11-14!

Its a photo gallery, and so much more. My favourite museum in Odense, it always has a new and inspiring exhibition.
If you are a student, theres free entry Thursday afternoons.

This might sound boring, but it is so cool! You get to enter all the old houses, and it looks and feels like you are hundreds of years back in time. And if you dare you can try to play with the little piglets - though on your own risk. The restaurant belonging to the Landsby, Sortebro Kro, is superb. You can go all out with a 12 course dinner (book in advance if you can), or get the student option with lunch to under 100 kr.

It is free, you only pay a little for the clay and the burning. They provide all the equipment, including spinning wheels. You can also join the jewellery or knitting workshop, among other things.

An outdoor swimming pool! After 1. July, you can avoid the entry fee here, by choosing the Havnebad at Odense Havn instead. It is fresh (but cold) water, but rumour says they are also building a sauna!

Food Scene
This is a new place, so you can still find some peace and quiet here even though it has quickly become popular. I love their interiors of home made wooden furniture. They are happy to let anyone sit for a long time with a single coffee, and this is where I studied for my exam. It is also popular with mothers on maternal leave for some reason - perhaps because it is a lot of place to manoeuvre multiple prams around at the same time.

Its not a casino, but a games-bar! The perfect concept when you want to get out and get a change of scene, but are not up for a wild night out in the pub or club. It is possible to get a drink here, but mostly people are just chilling with the newest boardgames or one of the old classics.
If you feel like staying at home in your new flat in Odinsgade, I also have a selection of games, including Jenga and Game of Thrones Monopoly. Yes, you read right.
