In 2002, Utah hosted the world for the XIX Olympic Winter Games and the VIII Paralympic Winter Games. The largest crowds ever for an Olympic Winter Games (a record that still holds today) filled the venues and cheered for every athlete, in every sport, from every country. Built for the Salt Lake 2002 Olympic Winter Games, Utah Olympic Park is located just 5 miles west of the property. The nearly 400 acre venue houses one of only four sliding tracks in North America, six Nordic ski jumps, a 2002 Winter Games museum, and a multitude of adventure activities. Utah Olympic Park is a dynamic multi-use facility focused on developing and growing participation in winter sports in the state of Utah and is an official USOC Training Site. Activities: > Alpine Slide > Flying Aces All-Star Freestyle shows > Summer Bobsled Experience > Summer Extreme & Freestyle Zip Lining > Extreme tubing > Tour Museum

Dining, Shopping, & Events

Historic Main Street is your destination for engaging attractions, world renowned dining, and unique shopping, and all type of events that the whole family can enjoy.
I would recommend taking the paved walkway through the Park City Park to get to Main Street. Along you’re less than a mile journey you will take in the natural beauty of a running creek in addition to sprinkled unique art fixtures along the way. Soon you will arrive at the historic Main Street where all of the action exists! Below are my top five recommendations: 1- Have breakfast or brunch at the Bridge Café. 2- After your breakfast or brunch, take a ride on the ski lifts which is directly located right outside of the cafe. 3- For a fine dining experience check out Riverhorse on Main. The ambience is amazing! 4- Walk up and down Main Street checking out the various quaint shops. 5- There are always tons of free live events going on in the streets at the top of Main Street. Visit this site to check out The event schedule during your stay: historicparkcityutah
