Sightseeing

Pick a day and be prepared to walk for 30-40 minutes to get to this place from the Cyprus Lake parking lot. Book your parking at the Bruce Peninsula National Park in advance The rugged stone scape and the ocean blue waters make this hike worth the trek! The Rocky shoreline is filled with some unique stones, also a perfect place to swim, and even safe for the little ones, but swim at your own risk the water here gets deep around 20 feet out. Underwater caves are something swimmers can’t afford to miss here! The water is always a little cool because of its location, but very refreshing on a hot day!

Book a cruise with Blue heron Company to flowerpot island and reach there early morning, spend the day, watch the sunset, and climb back on aboard just in time to depart for the day! There are 4.3 kilometers of well-marked trails that cover the east side of this 200-hectare Island and limited dockage at Beachy Cove for shallow-draft vessels. Flowerpot Island is part of Fathom Five National Marine Park and is famous for the two rock pillars or sea stacks called the "Flowerpots" on its eastern shoreline. The Flowerpots are a type of sea stack, formed over many years as wind, rain, waves, and ice hammered away at the cliff that once stood alongside the water’s edge. The softer rock eroded more quickly, leaving the harder rock remaining in the shape of flowerpots with trees growing on top"
