With friendly owners and superb service for brilliant breakfasts and spicy (or not as you prefer) suppers! Can be busy at he weekends - so do book a table for dinner. Not licensed, but you can bring your own bottle. They also do a take away service.

2 mins walk away - in the main square (known as the Grist). Fantastic fish and chips - lovely to eat them under the castle with a view over the estuary. Check opening times so as not to be disappointed.

A Laugharne favourite that has been here for many years. A guest has told me the best cream teas in Laugharne can be found here (you may need to compare a few others of course!). They have recently moved a few doors along to left on this view.

Our nearest beach - with miles of golden sands and also rock pool when the tide is out. You pay for parking - and are even able to park on the beach when the tide allows. Several local shops, cafes and pubs to choose from.

A little further afield (60-70 min drive) - this extensive and stunning beach is a surfers paradise. Beware the stronger currents here. For Harry Potter fans - some scenes were filmed in the sand dunes here!
