This lake seems small when you first arrive but if you follow the road on the left-hand side you see how vast it really is. There’s a public parking area near the campgrounds with a tiny little beach that’s perfect for swimming or launching your kayak.

This little town center hosts a weekly farmers market in the summer and is home to a delightful Railway Museum. While the town is only about a block long the quaint little stores are fun for browsing and window shopping and you can stop by and grab an ice cream to enjoy.

They have big picnic tables and corn hole and lots of room for kids to run around. There are a series of yurts connected to form bar and entertainment spaces which is open in the summer but also great in the cooler weather.
