Food Scene

Lots of food stalls from around the world. Busy, touristy vibe but good fun. Don't miss the Amy Winehouse Statue.

Brixton is one of London's up and coming areas and Pop Brixton definitely appeals to the area's new YUPPIES and hipsters alike. Variety of food and drinks from around the world all set in repurposed shipping containers. Not the cheapest bite to eat but Pop Brixton is a off the tourist track and great chance to experience a different side of London. Also check out Brixton Market just next door.

Parks & Nature

Primrose Hill was big in the 90s Britpop era with lots of celebrity sitings. Now it's a gorgeous (if not expensive) area with nice restaurants and beautiful houses. Primrose Hill isn't the largest park but it has a certain charm and busy with dog walkers, runners and families. Beautiful view over London from the hill and connects through to Regents Park and London Zoo.

London is best viewed from the Thames and a walk along The Southbank is a great way to catch most of London's main sites, including Big Ben and Shakespeare's Globe. The walk runs from Westminster to Tower Bridge and takes about half a day. Stop at the Tate Modern and head up to the viewing deck for a fantastic view of St Paul's cathedral.

Fantastic views over London in an incredible surrounding. Book ahead or queue on the night for entry to the bar. This is a little on the fancy side so dress appropriately - and remember to take something warm if you're going in Winter.

If you're looking to head up The Shard for a birds eye view of London then our advice would be to head up to one of the many bars or restaurants. You're not quite as high as the viewing deck but the views are just as incredible.

Everything Else

Busy Flower Market with traditional Cockney sellers. Open on Sunday only. Attend early to beat the worst of the crowds. Don't miss Ezra street with its live music and eclectic stalls. A great place to start exploring East London with Shoreditch and Brick Lane a short walk away
