It's only 8 minutes up the road and having been there many times before we know how much children love it here. From big animals like horses and Alpacas to smaller ones like Guinea Pigs there is a huge range of farm animals to see. There is also a Dino discovery trail......imagine a real dino here on the Jurassic Coast. Sadly there aren't anymore but the trail will still keep young minds wondering. If there aren't any dino fans with you there are always the rides and play park to keep them occupied.

No matter how many times you go here each day is different and it's another place that we are so lucky to have so close. It will take you around 25 miniutes to get there, on the way you'll drive through some of the amazing countryside Dorset has to offer. There are plenty of monkeys to observe and relate back to people you may know and play areas to let the young ones blow off some energy. We recommend heading over to Aldi and getting a picnic together, there are options for food and drink at Monkey World but the waiting can be long not to mention expensive.

Home

This is us. A place we call home and what a place it is. Be sure to keep an eye out for all the decorated post boxes as you make your way to Aldi to top up on the essentials or to the Phat Fryer for some fish and chips. We have various ways to get about, you can walk over to the little park outside our home or the bigger one across the road. Bus links to Poole and Swanage and the main road that takes you out to Dorchester and beyond are just minutes away, opening up a range of activities and places to see. Locally there are a number of places to eat and drink, we have a Costa a few minutes walk away and although a little further, St Peters Finger is a lovely pub where you can sit down to one of their tasty meals and wash it down with a drink. It’ll take about 25 mins to walk there. We love it here, we’re sure you will too.

Food scene

This lovely pub is a 25-minute walk and well worth a visit. It's popular with locals and those who travel from far and wide. There are plenty of places to sit both inside and out where you can tuck into one of their freshly made meals and choose from a variety of drinks. When you've walked off your meal and drinks head back and relax in the Hot Tub.

This is a family friendly pub for the whole community. Located in the village of Hamworthy on the edge of Poole and minutes from Upton. A perfect example of a friendly, quality English village pub that we all know and love, we’re dog friendly with a large garden, roaring log fires, flagstone floors and oak beams, it’s cosy in the winter and glorious in the summer.
