This is without a doubt, the best fish and chip place on the north coast of Cornwall, and we know, we've tried them all! With friendly staff (who have just started brewing their own ales!) you won't be disappointed by the fish and chips here. It's takeaway only and during peak times we highly recommend that you pre-book your order online via their website as sometimes if they're really busy, they don't accept walk-ins. During winter / off-season months, check their website to see if they're open as they switch to winter hours.

For a warm and friendly welcome with local ales and food, head up to Towan Cross to the Victory Inn. A great place to stop on your way back if you've done the walk across to St Agnes.

The food, coffee and cakes here are great but their breakfast takes the top spot in Porthtowan as far as we're concerned! Tucked away under a large viaduct is Jenn's Diner; a family-run American Style Diner serving great food with large portions all day. Look out for the giant Spiderman on the roof and you'll know you've found the right place.

We love Porthtowan Eco Park for its laid-back vibes, excellent markets (when they're on), vegan food and beautiful views across their campsite. They host gigs and local musicians so head to their website to see what's on or pop in for a coffee and explore the site.
