To access east bay, Powell St station is less crowded. To access the SFO or Caltrain (to south bay and San Jose), Montgomery St station is better because that would be less crowded than Powell then. Walk to either of them is 12-14 minutes depending on how many red traffic lights you get.

Parking
Street parking on Harrison st is limited to 2 hours. On Sundays and after 7pm till 8am however it is free without any limit. The street parking on the back side (around Rizal St) is free but limited to 1 hour only. Note that moving your car within the same block after 1 hour does not restart the limit!
