Beach
The most beautiful beaches in and near Saranda
One of the cleaniest and prettiest beaches, 15 minutes(by car) from Saranda. Best time to visit would be in June, early July and September when there aren’t many tourists and you get to enjoy this little piece of paradise for yourself. If you’re there, make sure to cross(by sea) to the beach next to it “Shpella e Pellumbave” and prepare to be amazed!🙂

Plazhi Pasqyrat Sarande

“Shpella e Pellumbave” is my second favorite beach near Saranda. It is right next to “Pasqyrat” beach but like all treasures, it is a little more difficult to find. Leave your car at the top and then take the scenic route down to the beach. Once you’re out of the trees, the scene in front of you will wow you.
Just a note, I don’t recommend this for people who have mobility issues as the route can be a little tiring.
For the rest, trust me on this, you don’t want to lose this experience. 🙂

Shpella e Pellumbave
“Shpella e Pellumbave” is my second favorite beach near Saranda. It is right next to “Pasqyrat” beach but like all treasures, it is a little more difficult to find. Leave your car at the top and then take the scenic route down to the beach. Once you’re out of the trees, the scene in front of you will wow you.

Located just 20 minutes from Saranda, Ksamil beaches are probably the most well known beaches near Saranda. And for a good reason. When not flocked by tourists (aka June, early July and September), when visiting Ksamil, you will not believe that you are actually in Europe and not somewhere in the Bahamas. Crystal clean, sandy beaches are the dream of every vacationer and Ksamil has plenty of those to offer.

Kroreza is by far my favorite beach near Saranda. Accessible only by boat(no worries, you should be able to easily book a day trip there with the boats near Limani), Kroreza Beach is my favorite paradise in Albania. It’s what we call a “virgin” beach. Due to the fact that is only accessible by boat, it hasn’t yet been affected by heavy tourism and thus remains a completely clean piece of nature. The beach streches on for a couple kilometres and the water is crystal clean. Trust me, my words cannot make justice to the beauty of the place.

Krorëza Beach
Kroreza is by far my favorite beach near Saranda. This is probably the most important archeological site in Albania. Whether you ate interested in history or not, a visit in this National Park is a must if you find yourself in Saranda.

Everybody planning on visiting Saranda has for sure seen a recommendation somewhere to visit the “Syri i Kalter” park. Well, you should do it. Take a break from the beach days and go visit this wonder of nature.
