A local coffee shop offering a variety of coffee and tea. They don't always sell food here for some reason, and their pricing and quality is not the best, but it is the closest coffee shop within walking distance from the house. My boyfriend likes their coffee and he is a coffee snob, but boulder does have a lot of coffee options that I think are better.

This tea house is something you MUST visit while in town. The tea house was originally designed and built in Dushanbe, Tajikistan and then given as a gift to America, where it was rebuilt right here in Boulder, CO. You can't get more authentic than that. It's absolutely beautiful with intricate designs in structure and artwork. They also have an amazing selection of tea, tea cocktails, and homemade chai. While they serve food, I wouldn't recommend it as it is usually sub par and over priced.

Amazing views, and great hike. This trail is known as the "stair stepper", and is considered a "moderate" hike. It takes about an hour to reach the top, at a decent pace, and the view is worth the hike. You don't need to go to the very top for the views though, and even just 20 minutes in you can stop for a breathtaking scenery!

There are multiple trails at this park that can accommodate any fitness level. The best trails here, in my opinion, are the Royal Arch Trail, and Flatirons 1 & 2. Both have incredible views, and are a moderate to difficult hike.

This park is directly across the street from our home. It has a couple picnic tables if you want to have a picnic in the park and also has an off leash park in the back for dogs.

The pearl street mall is an outdoor mall in the heart of the city. It is one of the most iconic parts of boulder. It has shopping, restaurants, and activities suitable for all ages. It's even fun just to walk down the streets of the mall and see street performers, beautiful buildings, and the beautiful view of the mountains. The mall regularly has live music in the summer or other the occasional event (like fall fest, lighting display for Christmas, and more).
