Neighbourhoods
Go for a beautiful walk around the 3.5 kilometer chip trail that surrounds Cedar Hill Golf Course. It is a bit hilly in spots, so you will get a bit of a workout. The views are magnificent and the trail is soft and easy on the feet. About a 10 minute walk from Nancy's place. You can enter the trail from the parking lot on the corner of Finlayson and North Dairy and is beside the Cedar Hill Rec Center.

Unique shopping along Oak Bay Avenue. Penny Farthing Pub, GardenWorks, boutique clothing stores and much more. Oak Bay is an older established neighborhood in Victoria with many beautiful homes and lovely tree lined streets.

This is a great coffee shop about a 15 minute walk or 5 minute drive from Nancy's place. My personal favourite for breakfast or lunch. Wonderful coffee and baked goods.

Sightseeing
Enjoy a leisurely stroll or a run along Dallas Road with the shoreline and ocean views surrounding the path. Big open sky and magnificent views. People fly kites and hang glide there too and sometimes there are wind surfers. At the far end of Dallas Road, you can grab a bite to eat or a drink at the Breakwater Cafe and walk the long causeway that extends out from the shore. We are all about the ocean here!

Willows beach is one of my favorites, of the many beaches in Victoria. Good for suntanning, building sand castles, relaxing with friends and walking along the boulevard that parallels the beach. You can park your car next to the boulevard. 7 minutes drive from Nancy's place.
