Scenic views, picnic tables with a restaurant in the park (hours pending, please look up first). It's all the rage in the summer! A lot of picnics happening. Really a fantastic place to get out and enjoy mother nature. Can see NY and NJ from here!

Hickory Run State Park. Waterfall is an amazing place. Must see. Many trails (Shades of death trail is the most popular), ample parking, bathrooms are well maintained. Must see Boulder field. Beach area next to the lake as well. Just many options to choose from and very easy to kill a day here out with Mother nature.

Easy hiking with great views! River is fantastic. Great fishing here as well. Would not recommend for strollers however. Picnic friendly!

A perfect trail for the littles! In the winter it gets slippery so please heed that advice prior to. But, of all the trailheads recommended, this would be perfect for the 2-5 year old range. Small loop. Beautiful views.

40 Min drive from the house but excellent service and a fantastic atmosphere. In no way are we Wine "experts" but we enjoy great food, good wine and a fantastic atmosphere and vibe. It's worth the drive, make a night out of it, sit outside (weather permitting) and enjoy.
