It’s best to have a car to navigate around the area for sightseeing, grabbing food or essentials, but Provincetown Taxi or Uber are also options for those without one.

Best restaurants can book up fast so best to try to snag reservations in advance (ex. The Mews, Blackfish, Wicked Oyster, Ciro & Sal’s). Online reservation platforms such as OpenTable and Resy are used rarely and inconsistently throughout the Cape - when in doubt check restaurant website/facebook/instagram; some only offer direct reservations via phone, private reservation sites, or through Yelp reservations.

Provincetown has 2 ferry options that take about 1.5 hours from Boston. Relax, take in the water views, maybe enjoy a snack or cocktail on the ride over before coordinating with Uber or Provincetown Taxi for a ride to Truro. It’s a great alternative to sitting in Cape traffic!
