Sightseeing

The Bush presidential family lived in three houses in the Midland and Odessa area for a decade or so exploring for oil. This house has been refurbished to the time when the Bushes were living in the house. If you don't want to spend an hour with the tour, at least drive by and take some pictures.

Largest Oil and Gas Museum. Drive around the back of the museum to see the largest display of oil field equipment in the world. Take pictures. Then park in front and go inside. Make sure you see the short 10 minute movie at the start. Then as you make your way through the exhibits, do plan to go up the ramp to the future high tech oil & gas exploration mock up, with the TV monitors mounted up high. This may be the way we explore for oil in the future! In the back see the Chaparral Racing Cars. All but one of the cars are original. Do put on one of the racing jackets, and sit in the in the racing car that does not have security alarms on it. Take a selfie or have a friend take a pic

The atrium is huge with a fountain and water features, african display in the center, and even has an old horse and buggy with two monkeys being pulled by two zerbras. Ride any elevator to the top floor and walk around looking down at the lush growth.
