La Jolla's most sought after beach! This spot is basically the hub of all things La Jolla. Crystal clear water, nice beaches, amazing waves. Perfect street to go for a walk or if it's nice out pack up the beach bag and head over for the day.

Great place to go snorkel! Just be sure not to get too close to any seal's laying on the beach. The water is normally very clear on a calm day and all kinds of different fish swim around here!

The largest beach in La Jolla! Good place to catch a couple waves or just go relax, with many places to eat nearby.
If you want to snorkel, I would map to the Marine Room restaurant and park nearby. On the left side of the restaurant is a narrow path that goes straight to the water, and directly out from that path is a great place to see leopard sharks, guitar fish, lobsters, halibut etc... One of my favorite places to snorkel!

If you want to snorkel, I would map to the Marine Room restaurant and park nearby. On the left side of the restaurant is a narrow path that goes straight to the water, and directly out from that path is a great place to see leopard sharks, guitar fish, lobsters, halibut etc... One of my favorite places to snorkel!

Another local favorite, definitely some of the best burritos in town! If you are stuck deciding between Don Carlos and Taco Stand (a few buildings down the street from Don Carlos) I strongly urge you to go try their Clairemont, La Jolla and Hangover burritos!

Absolutely amazing breakfast! A little bit more on the pricey side but very well worth it. Also doubles as a bakery, the owner actually won Season 2 of Food Network's "Holiday Baking Championship."
