Chocolate, ice cream, gifts, Christmas stuff and so much more. Plus a great deck to enjoy your ice cream with a view. Everything here is so good. The bear paws and peanut butter cups are tops, as well as the cake batter gelato.

I'm addicted to this place. Everything is so good, from their lattes to their sandwiches (breakfast and lunch) to their griddle donuts. I can't get enough.

The town grocery store is a little on the expensive side, but they have a great selection of drinks, beer, and alcohol. On the weekends they cook barbeque and there's also a well-stocked bakery case. Good local coffee beans too.

Fantastic sandwiches and salads. Great vegetarian options and just plain delicious food. Check for their hours and days that they're open. There's gorgeous outdoor seating behind it that overlooks the river.

On your way into Three Rivers, stop here at this cute self-service fruit stand to pick up some fresh fruit of whatever is in season.
If you're passing through Visalia on your way in or out, this is a great stop. The food is really good, and I love getting their massive beer flight here because it also includes their 3 homemade sodas.

We don't have any of these down in the LA area, so it's always fun to stop in on your way through Visalia to pick up some yummy coffee or flavored sodas. The workers here are impossibly friendly and talkative!

A great sandwich place, and another one of those that we don't have down in Southern California. I love their smoked cheddar cheese, their house spread, and piling all the veggies as high as I can! Their chocolate chip cookies are also great.

A less-crowded place to enjoy the river. There's a small parking lot here and a short hike will take you to a number of beautiful river spots. Please remember to pack out your trash!

This drive is ridiculous and one of the most twisty, long roads I have ever been on. But the payoff at the end is amazing! The entire road is open only during the summer. Just spectacular views. Walt Disney was once planning to build a ski resort here, can you imagine?

It’s only half a mile, almost all stairs, and goes up 250 feet in elevation. Depending on how busy it is, you might have to park and then take a shuttle.
