Amusement Parks
Bay Lake and Lake Buena Vista, Florida, near Orlando and Kissimmee, is home to the Walt Disney World Resort, usually known as Walt Disney World or Disney World. Bay Lake and Lake Buena Vista, Florida, are home to the Walt Disney World Resort, an amusement park complex. Since its debut on October 1, 1971, Disney Parks, Experiences and Products (a part of The Walt Disney Company) has been in charge of managing and operating the resort. Additionally, a "Experimental Prototype Community of Tomorrow" was envisioned by Walt Disney as a testbed for innovative urban living advances as part of the original master plan. Following Epcot (1982), Disney's Hollywood Studios (1989), and Disney's Animal Kingdom (2001), the Walt Disney World Resort has four theme parks (1998).
As of 2020, Disney World will have laid off 6,500 employees and only be operating at a quarter of its capacity following the COVID-19 pandemic. Because Roy pushed on the name change from Disney World to Walt Disney World for the entire complex, visitors will always be reminded that this was all Walt's idea.

It's been voted one of the top 10 most beautiful communities in the United States. Self-guided walking tours, horse-drawn carriage rides, Segway tours, and bike rentals are all excellent ways to learn about Celebration.
