Food scene
Love Burgau is a funky restaurant just up the road from the apartment! They serve delicious brunch on the weekends and have sourdough pizza. Lots of vegan options are available as well as meat so a real treat for everyone. They also do takeaway if you feel like dining on the beach.
Extensive range of drinks serving coffees (oat milk and dairy), beers, soft drinks, cocktails and wine.
Lovely locally made cakes and deserts are also on offer. They change weekly!

The Beach bar has the most spectacular panoramic views! They serve fabulously fresh fish and meat dishes. I would highly recommend giving it a visit but make sure to book it advance as they can get very busy especially in the peak summer months.

Beach Bar Burgau
Rua da PraiaThe Beach bar has the most spectacular panoramic views! They serve fabulously fresh fish and meat dishes. I would highly recommend giving it a visit but make sure to book it advance as they can get very busy especially in the peak summer months.
They are not open in the winter months.

The cafe is attached to the local supermarket.

City/town information
The historic town has a great night life and lots of vibrant restaurants. There are some lovely beaches as well as the marina. There are lots of activities available from Lagos such as grotto tours, dolphin spotting tours and boat hire.

Sightseeing
A must have stop if you’re a sunset hunter! The sunsets are truly glorious and only a 35 minute drive from the village. You can always check out the amazing Tonel beach while there for some surfing!

A stunning lookout point between Cordoama and Castelejo which offers the most spectacular sunsets, especially in the autumn and winter months. This spot is nestled amongst the dramatic cliffs of the west coast.
