Saturdays and Sundays heat up with farmer's market, craft vendors, outdoor exercise classes and some BBQ'ing on the laws.

The permanent collection of this SF museum is "classical" era European art and rather snooze worthy. However, visiting exhibits are sometimes well worth seeing. Check the website for updates on what's showing. I have seen very memorable contemporary shows here so not to be discounted.
