Sforii Street is the third narrowest street in Europe (after the Spreuerhofstraße in Germany, which is 31 to 50 cm wide, and the Parliament Street in England, which is approximately 122 cm wide).

The Fortress on the Guard was an important defense fortification, located outside the Brasov Fortress, in order to prevent its attacking and especially its bombing from the surrounding heights. It is declared a historical monument of national importance.
The citadel is located north of the Brasov Fortress (the historical center of the city), on Straja Hill (Dealul Cetăţii) between Brașovechi and Blumăna.

Bran Castle is a castle in Bran, 25 kilometres southwest of Brașov. Commonly known outside Transylvania as Dracula's Castle, it is often referred to as the home of the title character in Bram Stoker's Dracula. There is no evidence that Stoker knew anything about this castle, which has only tangential associations with Vlad the Impaler, voivode of Wallachia, the putative inspiration for Dracula. Stoker's description of Dracula's crumbling fictional castle also bears no resemblance to Bran Castle.
The castle is now a museum dedicated to displaying art and furniture collected by Queen Marie. Tourists can see the interior on their own or by a guided tour. At the bottom of the hill is a small open-air museum exhibiting traditional Romanian peasant structures (cottages, barns, water-driven machinery, etc.) from the Bran region.
