Walking/hiking

Less than 5kms from the cottage, this provincial parc offers many hiking / walking trails of various length and difficulty. Although there's an entrance fee in the summer period, it's free in the winter as the parc is loosely closed (meaning that the parc is closed but everyone still uses it).

Cycling

Summer: fantastic cycling trail starting in St-Jérôme and finishing in Mont-Laurier. It stops in every major village in the Laurentians and is often lined with restaurants, cafés, rest areas, and some sight seeing detours. Large parts are paved (from Mont-Laurier to Labelle, from Lac Mercier to St-Faustin, from Ste-Agathe to Val-Morin) and is fantastic for roller blading. Winter: transforms into a wonderful cross-country skiing trail! Check out https://www.laurentides.com/fr/parclineaire for details.
