Wimbledon Tennis has a rich history. There's an aura of prestige and enthusiasm across players and tennis fans. Wimbledon Championships will begin on Monday, 27 June and ends on
Sunday, 10 July. It's an enjoyable event for all.
If you are unable to visit the tournament, why not visit the museum. The Wimbledon Lawn Tennis Museum, Shop, and Wingfield Café are open from Thursday to Sunday, 10.00 - 17.00. The last entry to the Museum is at 15.15.
There is no official Wimbledon dress code for spectators beyond a few forbidden items: no torn jeans, running vests, dirty sneakers, or sports shorts (classic, chic pieces are a perfect choice).

Wimbledon has a vast selection of great places to eat, wine, and dine. We have McDonald's, KFC, Five Guys, Taco Bell plus many more. Below, I have only mentioned a few places of interest. You'll discover the best Thai restaurant (Imm Thai Fusion) in Wimbledon (had to mention this one).
High-quality sushi restaurant with fresh food served from 12 noon until late evening. Service was brilliant and the food was amazing. The price is very good compared to other sushi restaurants.
The menu is filled with vegetables, meat, fish, and high-class sushi.

I will only walk into this restaurant if I'm really, really hungry. The food is excellent. You have a great selection of salad and sides. Skewers of every type of meat are continuously served at each table. You just help yourself. Be careful not to have too much food on your plate though. My plate is never empty. This place has the best sampling of Brazilian food.

I have only good things to say about this place. Staff are friendly and caring. The food is excellent and yet good value for money. I'm often here with a couple of girlfriends (you know who you are). Staff would give us a treat or an extra glass when it was a celebration. If you like authentic Thai food, this is your place.

A place to relax with family, friends or solo
The New Wimbledon Theatre is a Grade II listed building and is a beautiful masterpiece.
Why not treat yourself to a year-round program of comedy, dance, drama, opera, musicals, and an annual pantomime.

This is a large pub and is for everyone. It is definitely worth a visit.
There is a delightful, covered roof terrace. Perfect on a sunny day but on a chilly day, the heated lamps will keep you warm.

Oddono's - Fresh Natural Italian Ice Cream. It's up there with the best Italian ice creams. Believe me, I've had a few.
A good choice of flavors (you'll be spoilt for choice) and a comfortable seating area.

We have our local Tesco which is a 4-minute walk plus a Co-op Food supermarket. Both of which are close to Wimbledon Chase station. We also have a bp petrol station which is a 3-minute walk from your accommodation.
The area is quiet and peaceful. We have an assortment of transport links, making it easy to get around. We have Wimbledon Chase train station, regular buses, trams, an assortment of taxis, and Uber links.
