This is a very unique spot in the popular Blackstone District. It's highlights are great burgers, chicken sliders (AKA The Bird House), totchos (tater tot-nachos), drinks, and a projector behind the bar that is always playing a random old movie. It's one of my favorite places in town to casually grab dinner and drinks, but it's definitely not your typical restaurant.

Very popular sushi place in Old Market. It and Hiro 88 are both great options for Sushi. Hiro 88 is slightly higher-end, while Blue is more of a lively atmosphere. Blue has a nice little patio, but more importantly, there is a whole extra level to the restaurant upstairs that has its own bar and servers.

I love this area. The Pedestrian Bridge crosses the Missouri river and take you from Nebraska to Iowa. My favorite walk/run/bike ride downtown.

The Old Market is Omaha's most famous neighborhood district. Brick streets create a very charming and walkable area, which is perfect because some of the best restaurants, cafes, pubs, and shops in Omaha are there. A great farmer's market takes place there every Saturday and Sunday during the Spring, Summer, and Fall. This area is a 10 to 15-minute walk from my apartment, but we also have Ubers and Lyfts in the neighborhood that will take you for usually $3-$5.

Just 10-blocks West of my loft, but usually a better place to drive or get an Uber/Lyft to in my opinion. Lot's of free parking in the evenings. Midtown Crossing is one of the more newly-developed areas in Omaha, with several restaurants, bars, and a grocery store all next to one another.

The best (and only) park downtown! Really pretty area and a short walk to the pedestrian bridge, which I highly recommend.
